Scx24 Channel 3??

Has anyone figured out how to work the 3rd channel? I've tried everything and cannot figure it out. I'm trying to use it for rock lights. I'd like to switch them on and off. There is one guy on youtube who says he has done it but he posts no information, just a video of them turning on and off.

The 3rd channel works as is, but to control LEDs you'll need an RC receiver switch for $6-$8 or LED controller. You can also make your own with some resistors and an old servo board.
FYI you can get working reverse lights by flipping the LED so positive is negative.
So basically plug your reverse lights into the pins right next to the "brake" jumper. Top 2 pins, negative wire on top. Just like this picture.
