Scx24 Wheel Options?

Hi there. My name is Sam and I'm new to both RC and micro scale rigs. I bought an scx24 deadbolt and in an effort to remove the glued tires from the rims by boiling in water I managed to mangle the rims. Basically they warped pretty significantly. I was going to wind some lead wire on the inside of the rim, because I live in New Zealand and having wheel weights shipped here is stupid expensive.

Instead, I'll now be paying stupid shipping for wheels and tires. Can't seem to find the stuff locally.

I'm searching around to find replacement wheels and tires, but am hesitant to purchase because I can't quite figure out if:

a) all 1" wheels are compatible with the scx24 axles and
b) all tires are compatible with all 1" beadlocks.

Any other info you've got to help me along would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

All 1" wheels are not the same, and as I discovered rc4wd tyres do not fit the machette wheels or the rgt wheels, finally got some rc4wd beadlock wheels and it was still a battle to fit the tyres (fat fingers probably not helping),. I was told ftx ibex wheels fit the wider rd4wd tyres, but were too wide for my rock Creepers. I will add I am in the UK and parts availability is very scant. So basically whichever wheel you want it's best to buy with tyres. There is a thread about wheels and tyres somewhere.

Thanks for that info.

Alternatively, would anyone be willing to sell me their stock ones that they've replaced?

I’m willing to give you my stock wheels and tires, but the shipping cost would be $110. If your willing to pay that you can have them.
