Sequre ESCape32 70a won't allow music change

I just installed a brand new Sequre 70a ESCape32 ESC in my Class 2 build and while changing the setting via the WiFi programmer I ctrl C, ctrl V'd a bit of code to have it play the Back To The Future theme song on startup. Flashed the changes and unplugged the ESC. When plugging the battery back in it played one note and then the 3 battery confirmation tones. I unhooked everything and checked the programming just to be sure that it did save the changes and it had. The entire music code was in there but when you enter it in the music tab to test it you only get one tone, no matter what is entered. I googled the issue and there was one Reddit comment with the same issue from 4 months ago with one reply that led me to a discord server that didn't address the issue either. I did read that there was a bug in ver11 of the firmware so I tried to update to rev12.1 but after that failed I checked and my ESC has rev13 firmware already installed which I assume already has the patch from 12.1. Anyone have any clue what is going on with this ESC? Thanks in advance!

OK, I've dug around the interwebs for the last 24 hours straight and finally figured out the issue. Sequre1 Rev13, which is the firmware that the current batch of Sequre 70a ESC's from Amazon are shipping with, has a bug that prevents the music function from working properly. The issue that I was running into is that no firmware updates are available on Sequre's website and all of the other firmware update patches that I had tried up until now did not work with the Sequre. I found a new source tonight that had the Sequre1 Rev14 patch 4 file that works with this speed control and it fixes the issue. Here is the link to the page for those interested: Release ESCape32 release 14 · neoxic/ESCape32.

UPDATE: Went to test all of the electronics this morning after programming the BEC and now the ESC won't play music on startup, no battery cell tones, nothing. I had it working perfectly last night, even tried two or three different startup tones to make sure everything was working properly. I began diagnosing the problem by checking each connection individually with no luck. The WiFi link still functions telling me that the speed control is at least partially operational. Now for the weird part... I reset all of the settings in the software and tried the music tones through the music menu. It worked. Saved the music to the proper tab in the settings menu and shut everything down. Plugged a battery in and no tones, no battery check, dead silence... but the motor runs normally (at least I've got that function back). I'm stumped as to why this keeps happening when there's no battery plugged in and nothing is being messed with. Any ideas?
