I can't speak for the Mayhem, but the cs-150 I have used. It is an ok servo as long as you are not putting it under too much of a load, I ran with 1.5 oz on the front wheels of my crawler and it lasted for almost a year, until I upped it to 2.5oz, then it died. I thought it was just age, so I bought another. I put more weight on the tires, 3oz per (8oz total weight per tire) and the servo only lasted one comp. It is an all metal gear servo except the gear that comes directly off of the motor, the top-gear on that set is plastic and strips out.
