Servo Torque measurement converter?

I hope this isn't something that's out there and I missed due to poor searching, but can anyone recommend a conversion table or site that can be used to find out how different measurements of servo torque compare? I mean I see some servos (torque) listed in grams, some in ounce/inches, some in kg (kilograms) and I'm a little lost. I live in Japan, where the staff at my LHS can answer ANY R/C related question, as long as it's about drifting! (the offroad/crawling scene isn't very popular here). A lot of the more popular servos (Hitec) don't seem to be available without shipping internationally. There are local brands of high torque metal-geared servos available with listed torque going up to about 8.5 kg, wanted to see how they compared.

Thanks for your time.

I've been using the same one while messing around on another thread, it's easy to work with...

Don't feel alone - the better lhs here is pretty similar, no one knows even what a crawler is. At least the parts selection is vast, and they let me just roam around behind the counter looking for what I need.
The worse one has a quarter as many parts and is staffed by teenaged Dungeons and Dragons geeks.
