Share you CKRC stories here...good or bad.

Admittedly, I only bought from CKRC once....maybe twice before I heard of their reputation. My orders went okay as I recall, but after researching them I decided I didn't want to support a company that has wronged so many people....and that's not even discussing competitions.

To say Evil Twin has no beef because these are "toys" is simply ignorant. :roll: Money is money. Customer service is customer service.
 
I have ordered at least 6 times from CKRC, (2 XR10's) and have had excellent service and shipping and communication. I have been into the shop at least 4 times and have watched other customers in front of me receive excellent service as I have.
Evil - you need to move on, they are toys.

WTF!!! yes we are dealing with toys here, but as other people stated, it's not about the toys, it's the money and customer service....
 
I've been ordering from CKRC since I started the whole crawling sport. I ordered a Losi Mini Crawler. It took more then 2 weeks to get to Maine but it was cause we got a snow storm so I can't complain any. Then I've bout stuff from there and have always had positive things to say about these guys. Never had a problem with them. And when I need something I get the part number and a guy in Orrigition, Maine orders it up and I get it about 4 days. Bought my Scx10 from these guys also. And there usealy cheaper on somethings to. SO that's always a plus:mrgreen:. And I'll keep ordering stuff from these guys until they shut down. So keep up the good work CKRC"thumbsup"

I have ordered from them once before without any problems, and I made another order from them today. RPP and TCS are my first go to vendors, but they did not have what I wanted in stock so I will take the CKRC "gamble".
 
I have had nothing but great experiences with CKRC. I have speant quite a bit with them over the years and have always been treated top notch. Things ship on time, every PM I send to King Bling gets responded to... and every time I call i get the answers I need. They are very helpful with their set-up tips and are always willing to help. Toys, huh? Last I checked, the money that I paid wasn't Monopoly money. If I bought a defective battery for my 1:1, and it went bad within 2 weeks, I'd expect my money back or a replacement battery...not bad mouth the customer and hang up.


So this whole tantrum is over a battery. :lmao: I thought I was king of the shitbags. I think you got me beat.
 
i know most of the guys at ckrc and they well help out all they can. dont know what happend to you but ckrc has always done me right "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"
 
ckrc sucks..i got the mild steel rear axle's..i bend em almost every time i go out:lmao::flipoff: SOLID 6mm Chromoly hardened steel rear axle shafts
 
How long after you ordered from them did they message you back saying the product got shipped?


I placed my first order with them last night, and everytime I order from a site I get a message back the next morning saying the product has shipped from the wear house. Still nothing yet....:roll:
 
ordered on four separate occasions, always on a monday. item(s) at my door by Friday. Thats really good considering the distance (i live on the east coast)

CKRC shipping is top notch for me. Love the "if it fits it ships" priority mail!
Nothing ships first thing in the morning. They may have put it in a box. None of the carriers pick up and scan packages into the system till late in the day. CKRC emailed all shipping notices after the mail went out later in the PM.
I have to give them a thumbs up.

he's made that comment multiple times, maybe you should read more.

I have never bought anything from ckrc, so I get to see how all you react to this but what I'm seeing is this: he asked for input good or bad, and thats what he's getting, there are a numerous amount that went well with them and a smaller amount that didn't. so why are you bashing him? he had troubles with them like others, you going to start bashing them also?
from what I can see is that he is trying to at least show others that there can be issue's with ordering from ckrc, so as to let other be cautious with there choices.
is it bad that he is trying to let people know that it's not perfect?
hell I would like to know this kind of info before purchasing anything from a vendor/dealer.
so IMO, stop trying to be a smart ass, as you can see, just cuz you had good service doesn't mean everyone else has too.
 
I've delt with them twice. First time was for there berg rear lock outs with 6mm shafts, pure garbage and took them 2 weeks to get them after paying for the faster shipping.
Second time was for there Berg hardned 3rd gears. A little costly but had my order in 3 days without paying for the more expensive priority shipping.
Will buy from them again as a last resort and only if it's somebody else's product. Dont want anything else that has there name on it.
 
So far I haven't had a problem yet with them. I've ordered alot cause most of the time they have it. The only thing CKRC on my rig is his Droid chassis and so far it hasn't broke in half:flipoff:
 
Well i was just talking to a fellow crawler about how i thought this thread was silly , and then CKRC shafts me (Hahaha) on some losi mrc cvd's (get the pun) so then for the past 4 days i've been trying to reach them by phone and evidently CKRC is a very small operation cause they must only have 1 person manning the phones or they are getting ALOT ALOT of phone calls. Even when you get through you'll get too speak to the ever-cheerfull & especially helpful Josh who tell's me on the phone someone tried to contact me and tell me the parts are out of stock (while i'm on their web site and the status says they're in stock right now) , so i give Josh the benefit of the doubt and go back 3 weeks in my phone record and cannot find a single incoming call from a 775 area code 11 out going though. Oh well before Josh hung up on me , he asked if i'd like him to refund the purchase price i said yes , but he hung up so i guess i'll be watching my credit card balance. It shouldn't take too long i hope (unless they're out of stock) :lmao:

Order placed and paid for on Jan. 8 just before midnight shows processed on the 9th and today Jan 18 is the first contact i've had other than the thanks for your money e-mail they send...

Im having the same problem right now that I usually have with them, Ive been waiting for my order to ship for what seems like forever, no reply's to emails or answers via phone. If I would have just gone with Corey I would have spent like $15 more total but had the stuff already.....aaarrrrggghhhhh
