Shaun's 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe Restore

Thats it, I'm shooting you with my airsoft gun at Crawlapalooza.

I got a small clip, I couldn't let it run to long because the fuel transfer tube on my carb is leaking, tomorrow I have to go get some o-rings to fix it.

i remember when you first posted that you got the car...

from the sound when you started it shows that you put alot of effort in to it "thumbsup" it sounds mean! :)

cant wait to see the first burn out vid

Its alive! :D

We took out for a cruise for an hour or two, it runs and drives really nice now, on the highway its as smooth as can be. Also, it has got alot more power now, it will burn 'em off on command now. Smiley

I have to get it align in a few days, first I need a install kit for my steering wheel.

A picture, sorry about the thumb print on the lens

B&M does some awesome work!

Not sure? Like some kind of test?

Inspection!? If we had those in Oklahoma, that would take about 70% of the cars off the road!

Thats cool, wasn't trying to be a wise a$$, just curious, In PA can't have anything modded like that.. I was able to get my car to pass inspection because my buddy does them.

Go hug a tree!

what's that got to do with hugging a tree :flipoff: lmao....i was talking bout the major safety issue of that 70% junk on the roadways that don't belong there and shouldn't be....we have inspections in pa and people still skirt the inspections to put junk on the roads....i had to tow a car one day that fell apart from the rust when i picked it up with the hook     ....the state police loved that guy ;-) ....why don't you go hug a tree :-P ....common sense you don't put junk on the roads, unless people don't care bout the possiblty of killing some on the road in okie homo  .............bob

My car would pass a safety inspection, I was talking about the emissions, there are alot of hot rods, street rods, and streetable drag cars around here that don't run emissions equipment, so they would pass a inspection, that 70% had nothing to do with safety inspection.

ok, but you didn't state what you were trying to say, just a general 70% of cars in your state would be aloud on the road....i used to be an inspection mechanic and they just started emissions in the more pop areas like pittsburg and philly and bigger cities....the emissions goes by the year of the car also, at least here in PA....you can't make a 1982 car pass a 2007 cars emissions....i can take my truck and get it inspected in one of those cities but i would "not" be required to have the emissions test done due to my address out of any city address....yeah guys have there cat converters cleaned out so it's just a straight pipe....but it still won't pass an emissions test either for it's year....so your "go hug a tree" remark didn't mean safety either....gezzzzzzz.............bob

....

cat converters what are them i never have them on my rigs thats the first thing to come off unless the o2 is after the cat then i run it

The Monte is coming along nice there Shawn "thumbsup"

As far as that emission testing crap, its nothing but a Gov scam to soak yet more money out of people's pockets. Not to mention punish people who couldn't afford to drive newer cars.
We had that shit here for 5 years before the government finally did away with it, admiting with their own tests, that it did NOTHING for air quality.
It was nothing but another waste of the people's tax dollars.
