I have actually had this chassis for a long time but life got a bit crazy. Got the itch to get back on this project and for got to take pics but this is what I got. This build wont be to unique at first but I have so cool stuff coming later. Once the SDI drive shafts come back in I will be getting those. Also got a ultra light special Pro-line C-10 body "thumbsup"

Close up of the lower link mounts. I purposely made the flanges stupid big but if they hold up I may slim them down to look a little better. I printed these and all the other printed parts on a MarkForge in the Onyx material. Obviously this is not a original design since SMW made these a few years ago but this is my take on them. I did a 15deg angle which seems to be about perfect for the Y-Town chassis.

Nice began build and funny to see rare chassis that we did't see to much in build, i like the began i see i will follow the sporty sections, looking to get me back in a rebuild one.so i have to asked if it is possible to be hooked on where to find your ar60 parts??

Great start Tyler, I think it was smart to print your lower link mounts that large. Edgar bought a set similar to the SMW mounts 3d printed and he snapped them easily on course.

The battery and electronic tray design looks great looking forward to see it mounted.

Hope you finish this rig before BLC's next comp."thumbsup"

I seem to be able to bust top self parts so if you need a tester for those link mounts print me up 4:mrgreen:

That's a great job!! I print most of my parts out of CarbonX which is a nylon/20%carbon filament and they hold up great since carbon fibers in the mix prevents ripping. I've gone as thin as 5mm with no trouble on my shafty but I used lock nuts on (1.5mm deep hex shape hole to partially sink them) the back side to secure links and shocks. Looking forward for this build!!!!

Done yet?

No Im slacking again. I cant make up my mind where I want to mount my electronics.

Things still to do:
. Paint and mount body
. Mount electronics
. Install rear drive shaft
. Print knuckle weight holders
. Get knuckle weights
. Mount tires to wheels

I think thats it
