I am running a integrity professional motor 55t
:shock::lmao::lmao::lmao:
Sorry man I couldn't resist....
traxxas4fun is correct...you must program and you don't HAVE to use the castle link to program... still...buy, beg, borrow heck even steal a castle link... ok don't steal one but you get the idea... you'll get more out of your new sidewinder using the castle link without frustration of counting blinks and beeps"thumbsup"
Idc... Lol i cant afford the brushless at the moment.....8)Come on man that isn't nice...........
X2 on Castle Link...
is there a place where i can ge the link?x3 on the link. I tried the manual method and it's a total PITA. The link opens up more options too. Very worth the $20.
He's not making fun of the choice of motor, most people use INTEGY motors as a budget option.
Yes, it's Integy. As a company, they are not very well known for their integrity either. They just occasionally steal or subcontract good stuff.
I don't have a Castle ESC thus the question. I've been looking at the castle ESCs and the castle link skit your supposed to buy. Does the interface "kit "just include the cable? It looks like you can download the software from Castles site and the cable looks to me like a standard Male USB/Male Mini USB B cable to me. I have one of those cable already that I got at Staples. Are my assumptions right?
Im going to order that one if i can...The castle link is more than a mini USB to USB cable...its a dongle that allows you to attach directly to the 3 wire output from your ESC or stand alone BEC... the cable alone gets you nowhere unless your using a mamba MAX. The software does come with the castle link... mine was outa date so it really didn't matter... rather than update i just down loaded the latest version.
edit to add:
The link and picture should help explain it better
