Last winter, my four-wheeled truck realized that Russian snow is too sudden and deep for the wheels.
So, to not to disturb him again, I began to prepare for the next season using the caterpillars.

Kyosho Blizzard for the rear.

Scx10 for the front.

Fortunately the wheels have the same speed as the caterpillars, I thought I would have to use two different motors.

I was worried that the wheels will not have enough power to turn the caterpillars, but they do well.

New Bright body, which left unused from the previous build is mounted. The interior is missing.
It is one stock Axial ESC and two motors now. I plan to upgrade the ESC to Tekin FXR.
All this should be tested on the ground, after I finish working with the body and interior.

This is a slightly used Blizzard EV, I got it with the cab only.
The screen is made from the packaging fabric.

The front motor is moved under the hood.

Roof light installed, it is connected to two 9-volt batteries. Usually I use LEDs with a slight amber tint, I think it looks better.

The bed painted with lacquer, the cab painted with Tamiya Champagne Gold.

Side mirrors, made from pieces of the CD looks more realistic.

The ESC and interior in a way, it will take some time before I get it.

You may know already but, if you will put 120000 k fluid in the diff or higher it will help your tracks turn more like a car and less like a tank. I put mine together and tried it and it turned one track on one off hard to control and higher speeds. I put in the 120,000 diff fluid from kyosho and it made a huge difference it's like having a simi locked diff and turns at speed without donuts.

I took apart the differential and put inside a couple of screws to lock it.
You probably will find this method is barbarous.

No news on the current build.
Some pictures of Jeep Brute Double Cab from last weekend.

There was a thunderstorm on Saturday.
The rain stopped in the morning, which allowed me to test the truck in the mud.
The chassis works great, but I have to work with the Blizzard axle.
Something prevents it to turn freely and reach the max speed.

Putting motors in socks useful to protect them from dirt, but water is still no good for motors.

I combined the controller with the camera because moving camera is better than static.
You should forgive my camera work, because I was driving the truck at the same time.
