so I have another Question.

I've been having alot of problams with my computor the last few months. I've had to take it in and have it looked at three different times. I have spent right at $300 to get it fixed all three times. I ended up going with what the computor guy said at the repair shop, and go with AVG, and a anti-malware program, I keep getting this when I log in,and check pm's. anyone know what is going on. i've been loging into my e-mails from g-mail, and my yahoo accounts. the last few days I've only came to RCC to try to figure out what is going on. so any ideas.

Avast rocks. Got it this spring and have been more than happy with it.

I use the Piriform Ccleaner once a week and TDSSKiller once a month or so. Every so often I'll also sweep with Anti-Malware.

With all this my 5 year old pc runs just about as fast as it ever did.

Sadly, my fix for the viruses I was getting from RCC was to switch to Safari, haven't had any issues sense.

thanks guys will try the avast see what happens. really havent liked the Avg seemed like everytime I turn on the computor it was updating and was not able to use the computor for about five miutes at atime.

AVG does suck, all anti virus is pretty lame. I used to run kaspersky, it was ok, WAY better than norton.

Now i agree with the ccleaner as stated above, its my favorite software. As for viruses and such, i've never had one on my cpu, all i ever run is google chrome for a browser.

At 300 a pop though to fix your cpu you should have just bought a new one
