I have a Dell. It's only five or six years old. I have a 24 inch LCD monitor. All the black on this website has a green fuzzy to it. if that makes sense. I don't have another monitor to compare it to. So would it be something my monitor or the computer itself failing? After a while it really bugs her eyes. Thanks guys hopefully it's something simple and cheap I can fix"thumbsup"

Throw $150 at an Asus 24" monitor at Amazon. Doesn't fix it, send it back.

friend brought me his 27"led monitor.. working fine now. monitor went bad.. had it about 7 years. thought it would last longer. this lg monitor is really nice

Most monitor issues are caused by those cables that harden or set themselves in a position. Connectors are another part of the same problem.

LCD monitors have low lifespan compared to LED.
