socket cap screws

Ok im looking to get stocked up on socket cap screws but im not a screw "expert" what do i need? what comes standard in the axial kit and all that? Im looking on mc masters and it has a butt load of different ones do i need metric? what thread size m2 m3 m4 etc? and what pitch?.4 mm
.45 mm .5 mm .7 mm ? I feel like a idiot that i have been into crawling for 3+ yrs and dont know this answer:roll:

I would choose button head over socket head screws...but that is just my opinion.

Metric Thread Pitch: .5 mm

.5 mm pitch is the way. I bought that pitch in 6-22 mm lengths in mainly m3. Some m4. The main uses are m3 though. Here is exactly what I bought:

Only downside is you end up with a fell set of 2mm beadlock screws... but I am saving those for a scaler project.

The manual shows all the screws.
Be patient, it takes a while to load. I saved it to my computer.

M3 screws are .5 pitch, M2 screws are .4 pitch, M4 screws are .7 pitch.
I prefer button head hex socket screws in most cases also.
