South bay crawler club??

its not too big but it does have a areas that will work, but then again my crawler is a shafty:roll:, ibeen lookin to buy a moa how do u guys like ur xr10s, i been looking at the bully and xr10. cant decide

I love my xr. Pretty good IMO coming from a teenager (me)..

I'd say get the xr. You'll be spending more on the bully, because it has some of the same issues as the xr10, but has more issues, that are more costly. Like stock, bully isn't zero aackerman like the xr, and I've been reading the aluminum housing is weak, needing gears and a hardened case. That there is already like $400 since the housings like $250, zero ackerman shafts for $40, gears $50. But these are just estimated prices for the bully..

But for the xr, it's like $200 and your really good to go. Vp plates, vp housing and better gears if your killing your kit with a 4s lipo haha

Im off work and im gonna go check out some other crawl spots.

I thik ive driven past dana rock before and it didnt look like a whole lot there but i might check it out. i have lots of time today!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Oh man.. YOU ARE now on my hate list for today! I got a ton of hw. Getting out for a crawl is like impossible..

Oh well, good luck on your findings!"thumbsup"

Man seems like there are alot of new people in crawling.. I'm planning to do a gtg sometime so it's just a meet and greet. I think itll be cool, and bring back my good memroy of how I met most you guys at that linda gtg like last October.

I'll post a thread tomorrow or when I have time. Hopefully people are free to come, and would like the gtg to be as successful as the one I set up in October.

apart from limiting my shocks im ready to crawl. went in the shop and chopped the battery mount as low as i could and it looks sharp but the battery is out there might have to make a cover or something.

sweet. "thumbsup"

yea, im kinda weary of the no cover battery tray... but thats how must guys run theirs, so i feel itll be okay.

today i got my VP stuff from CKRC. finished building the front. now onto rear after homework. hmm, bent links still on their way

i dont even think thatll be fun to crawl.. the gap seems to be huge between rocks, i think we'll be scavaging for our XRs more than crawling. and if we try to power through, its inevitable that someones gears are going to crack.
