How would one get this 3pk "reprogram"?

Reprogram? Not needed. Just go to the 4PK thread and follow my videos of how to program a 4PK (its the exact same as a 3PK).

For everyone else. The DX3R can't really do anything. It is way overpriced for the minimal features it has. The 4PL will bury that radio in features and abilities for LESS money. Go check out the 4PL thread and you can see "thumbsup"

I do realize and would not argue that the futaba is better, but the problem at hand for many of us who are late to the game here is that the cost associated with changing out a truck load of recievers is just not do-able. I like only having one radio and I would have to purchase to many recievers to make this work.

Soo, with that in mind does the Novak M2 with Dig give you the same basic capabilities as running a duel esc and a futaba? Now that the novak can handle a 3s, that sounds like the most cost effective way to get the most from the MOA, for those of us with the spektrum radios.

No sure about that one, Harley might have more insight though. I believe you still need the ability to be able to mix the channels even with the M2.

The M2 will try and duplicate what the Futaba radios are able to do. The DX3R is capable of doing what the M2 is designed for. However if you look at the M2 thread you can see what a train wreck it has been and how many problems people are having. I personally think it is garbage and uses old school technology for things like drag brake which essentially makes it useless for me in a comp rig. But my opinions aside, just go read what others are saying and you will see what I mean. You may be one of the lucky ones and actually get it to work though.

Yes, and the DX3r will do this with a M2, but not dual esc's.

On my DX3r, I have button F set to two position, button E set to three position and button D set to linear. This gives me front dig on "F", front and rear dig on "E" and proportional on "D". "thumbsup"

I agree with Harley, although the M2 will/may work, it is no substitute for dual esc's and a 4PK or 4PL.

I hear this all the time, but I usually like to get off the sinking ship and onto the one with the hot chicks in bikinis :ror: Take advantage of the other fools running spektrum and sell the RX's to them. The 4PL RX's are only $50 and you can usually get that for a Spek RX. Then dump the 3R and you will be out only a little cash and have way more capable equipment.

I agree with the fact that the m2 sure does not seam to be getting the best reviews in the world. So much really important stuff to consider right now!!!!!! I think I should go sit on the toilet and think about it some more.

Just an FYI. Wantasummit is working on an adaptor that will get the full and proportional dig setups running a duel esc. Keep an eye on the electrical thread or go to I think wantasummit.com. I do not know him from adam and am not sponsored or whatever by him, but his product does exactly what he said it would do on my ax10.

As a DX3R guy thats tried it all,just get the futaba and you will wonder why it took you so long to change. I have had mine a month and it makes everything so much easier. Most of the time I don't even have to dig,Trimming the rear esc down will make turning the rig easy in the area you have without it. I was wedged in a hole and able to turn it down to where front was running forward and the rear was in rev. so the truck popped out. :shock:
