Good. 3rd channel 2 position, and the servos that they pakage with it are throw away junk. Futaba 3pm is the same type cheaper. The plus to the spektrum is the extra reciever they package with it.

So with the 3rd ch. 2 position, it is just like the unmodified TQ3

I can use it as a dig set up?

Basically I want the radio to function like a TQ3, but with Spektrum, just want to know if it will work.

Also does it require any special batteries?

You can set it to whatever you want it to do. It needs 8 AA.

The third channel will work fine if you are using it for dig. I would recommend it as long as you don't think you will ever need a 3 position 3rd channel switch for rear steer or a winch.

Just need it for dig.
Also I just picked one up and have been running one for a day or so, it works great with my R2 w/ Disconnect.
