SSRCC Comp #3 - June 5 - Gainesville

Mini,

So I am confused now. On page 3 you said the highest score runs first. Now you are saying the lowest score runs first. It's just my $.02, but I thought we did pretty good with 2 courses open and a free format last time. Let me know. It really doesn't matter, I just want to be straight.

It does seem like the low score should go last. I can't see putting the leader at a disadvantage for winning the course.

Ok, for all the country folk :lmao::lmao:.

There will be 2 course's set up and runing at the same time.
Right now we have 15 guys signed up so there will be 7 in one group and 8 in the other. The order of driver's for the first two course's will be decided by a random number genarotor.

Know after the first 2 course's are ran complete we will switch side's the driver with the lowest score which will be the highest score will run the next course first and so on as the scores go.

Now kenny reamber this is crawling so the lowest score is the highest score.

Yes you are right the last comp ran fine with the free run but I don't want the same people going first all the time and the last people going last all the time this way every will have a chance to run first or last, and this way it will give everyone a chance also.

The NC guys run this meathod and they started at 10:30 and were done by 12:00 with everything this gives us enough time to free run and mess around. "thumbsup"

Mini, what you said is so confusing and if I did not know better I would have no idea what you said, "the lowest score which will be the highest score", why not just say this, "The highest score (last place) after running two courses will run the third course first continuing until the lowest score (top position) will run last"

I guess I need to see what all the issues are from the prior comps to understand why you are needing to use this way of running.

And I do not care how you run this comp, but just know that RCA runs anywhere from 20-40 crawlers starting at 9:30am and by 2:00-3:0pm are ready to run the finals course for the top 5 finishers.

Yeah, that crap had me confused to. :lmao:highest = lowest...left = right

I guess I need to see what all the issues are from the prior comps to understand why you are needing to use this way of running.

Weren't really any issues, just took a min for someone to step up and run first, that was all.

Sorry Kinson, but yea like Matt said there were no issue's last comp but this will speed things up a bit and will be alot smoother also and the same people will not have to go first. For example Donnie has ran the last 2 comps going first in certain course's and I don't think it's fair to him or anyone else.

Here is the simplest way I think I can explain it:
We will run 2 course's at the same time the order of driver's will be laided out for the first 2 course's by random.

Example:
Course 1
1. Mini
2. Matt
3. Donnie and so on.

Course 2
1. Bill
2. Kenny
3. Rich and so on.

Now once all the people in course one and two have ran the lowest score will go first in course 2 and course 1.

Course 1
1. Kenny 0
2. Bill 5
3. Rich 10 and so on.

Example:
Course 2
1. Donnie -15
2. Matt -6
3. Mini 0
Donnie and Kenny being the lowest score's will run first in the next course.

Then for course 3 we get everyones score and again from lowest score to highest is how we will set the order for running the course.

Hope this is much clear. And if anything I will explain it the day of the comp also.

That seems like a great way to do it, but after the first round which is random it allows those of us less skilled to watch the better drivers. Certainly a benefit to those of us that are crawler challenged

I gotta say I still would rather use the free crawl format like ECC and all the other large comps I have been to, especially since we have never had any problems........why fix what aint broke......especially from someone who said they were out of any of the setting up comp stuff. :flipoff: I know sometimes I want to run at the front and sometimes farther back. Don't see where this would be much faster than just lining up in a free crawl format like we have been doing. A little, maybe, but not enough to make people run in a certain order I don't think.

Maybe it's just my urge to fight the system. :ror:

Now, with that said, would I be too bummed if we changed?.................No.

I hate you guys lol. Just trying to make it just a bit more organized that's all.

Last time I help you with anything. :flipoff:

Ok Mini, I wasn't going to give you a hard time until Scattman and Kinson jumped on you. From now on, instead of high/low. Let's use better/worse. :lmao::lmao:

I don't care how we do it. Just tell me on the 5th.

Here you go Kenny:flipoff: that's how much I love ya :lmao:
It's not that hard to understand and will make things easier also atleast that's how I see it just trying to make it enjoyable for everyone that's all.

After the NC comp I have never seen a local comp run so smooth and quick was insane, that's all am trying to do down here for us.

Thank you to the UPS store for sponsoring my official comp weigh-in. 5.5 lbs with battery."thumbsup"
