Hi everyone,

Looking to get a new steering servo for my axial wraith. I would be using it for mild leisurely crawling and waterproof versions are preferable. Also servos under 100 AUD is preferable too, however any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys!

Any servo can be made "waterproof".

With that being said, there are no "waterproof" servos that will give you enough torque (300oz of tq is my minimum for 2.2 tires) to my knowledge.

There are many servos out there that will give you that 300oz, check out hitec, savox and futaba. Savox servos are known to be power hungry and loud, just fyi.

Check out the Holmes hobbies servo..
American, crawler specific company, with a warranty!

Specs
Full alloy case, waterproof, up to 572oz @ 8.4v.. 10$ more then a 7954.. With lots more Powah!

I run a couple 7954 SH in my rigs. When I first got one I was impressed of it's power. But with more experience I've concluded that this is the minimum of tourqe for crawling. It get the job done but wouldn't buy anything weaker. Lately I've been looking at the bigger 7950 TH but haven't oulled the trigger yet.
