Has anyone ever done something like this, use two tie rods? What are the pros and cons of it. Does it work better then having the drag link going from one wheel to the other?

Re: Steering Drag Link Question

I don't see any drag links in that pic. I do see what looks to be two half length tie rods. With a center mounted servo on axle this setup makes perfect sense.

Ive tried that years ago on a Wraith. Its hell on servos cause now each tire is trying to twist the horn seperately. It also results in ever so slightly different ackermann when at full lock from left to right. Wouldn't be be my first choice.

Thanks. I'm just exploring possibilities at this point. I'll stick with the stock setup. Hasn't steered me wrong yet......pun intended. [emoji1787][emoji1787]

I have two Wraith 2.2s. One setup with the two piece link and the other just one. Both are 4link, with servo on axle.

The set up with 2 steering links does not turn NEARLY as well.

Thanks for letting me know about this. Much appreciated!
