I have had a rock slide rs10 for a couple of months when the steering servo on the front and the back quit working. I bought new servos for it but it still will not turn. what else could it be?

The ESC probably went bad, at least the on board BEC. You can test by plugging the servos into the RX, powering on the hand held, then power the RX off just the battery (will have to make a power adapter). If you can control the servos then you know the radio set is good.

Did the original servos die at the same time? Then that would point to esc as stated previously. You need to post as much info as you can. Makes it easier on everyone to diagnose. If it's new and the esc is dead contact Redcat for replacement under warranty.

then sell that replacement online and at least upgrade to the "no-Name" 320 dual motor ESC on ebay ;) or a BR-XL

(motors and speed control work) I would test the servos on any other receiver first - that would tell you if servos or receiver are crapped out
