We are at $1,222.00 raised for the family so far with 946 entries for the grand giveaway!

I'll be sending out the check overnight this Thursday (December 15, 2011) for the family. That means the giveaway will be closed Thursday afternoon. The winner will be chosen after I double and triple check the spreadsheet "thumbsup"

Another $20 in for me. So far i'm at $120 for the best cause on this site at moment.

Come on people, one less present to yourself is one more present for a needing cause.

The giveaway is now over...as I have to get this check in the mail. We still have the stickers available on my site for those who would like to help in the future. All proceeds from the stickers sales in the future will still go to Steve's family...there just won't be a prize associated with them "thumbsup"

So anyway, here's how we did:

$50.00 sticker packages - 14 sold = $700.00
$20.00 sticker packages - 26 sold = $520.00
$7.00 sticker - 5 sold = $35.00

That brings us to a grand total of $1,282.00 raised in this short amount of time. That also puts our total entries for the giveaway to 965 entries for the giveaway!

I am going to go back through all of the orders and verify everyone is entered in the spreadsheet correctly...that's nearly 1,000 entries to verify! Then we will move on the to the drawing! I am currently fighting strep and another nasty infection so this part may take me a day or two to wrap up.

Thanks a million to all of those who have helped out! Between this and the motor sav'r deal we managed $1,482.00 total raised...not including what other volunteers have managed to pull together!

Great example of a group of people that only know eachother through a forum, pulling together to help one of their own.

One thing I find interesting, a total of 47 packages were sold (yes, I was a small contributor) and yet this amount was raised. Imagine if everyone from this site ON ONE DAY bought a package??:shock::shock:

Don, thank you for your work with the RCC vendors and Michelle and believing in our cause and taking the bull and running with it. Not many would step they way you did!

And with MiRCA's local fundraising and BWD's Motorsaver sales $$ we wil be present Steve's family with an additional $835 during our Indoor Season Opener on Saturday Dec 15th at Larry's Performance RC in Sterling Heights MI
