Well i get bored when im working out of town and just sitting in the hotel room so i don't get myself in trouble"thumbsup" So i will start a build thread on my newly acquired super bully. Thanks Miner Mike for helping me out:ror:

-65:1 super Bully axles
-Super Juice chassis
-2x 7950's for now (7980's when i have the money)
-Mamba max's for now (BR-XL or FXR's some day)
-big bores

I have redone the steering but no pics yet. I also ground down the rear case a lot and the tubes a little. I need to find someone to turn the tubes down for me. I think they will be plenty strong at 12.5mm and that should loose at least an 1oz probably more? Hopefully i will have some Dlux tubes on it some day;-)

Its at 8lb 12oz rtr. Just waiting on a radio now and it will be up and running!

How much heavier are people running the front over the rear? I am only about 12oz heavier in the front.

Tubes smoobes. Maybe I will have to make some sets.

Looks good. I am excited to see what you come up with. Got some better shots of that steering?

The steering in the pic? Yes. I changed it because i didn't like how high the servo was and the guard weighed about 2oz. I cut up the guard a lot and laid the servo down. I will post pics when i get home on friday.

As for the tubes, feel free to take your time as i am going to spend all my money building a 2.2 Dlux front axle w/ bully cases"thumbsup"

Love it...another Super... "thumbsup"

Thank you! I haven't even driven it and i can't wait for ECC!!

Yeas please!

Thanks"thumbsup" We already have the right shafts and knuckles so it will be an easy swap! I only had to hound his for a couple weeks about the 2.2 Bully tubes:twisted: But i think i will have more people to help push the super tubes. Eric makes some super nice and innovative stuff.

And i will be wanting your steering kits when i have the money! But at this point it will be a little while:cry:

Very nice Stubs! "thumbsup"

Thank you sir!"thumbsup" Thanks for all the help and i am sure i will be bothering you more in the future:roll: Please keep room in your inbox for me:ror:

Any pics on the ground cases? How much weight does that cut?

looks good bye the way.

Not yet. I have just done a little grinding so far. But i am shooting for something along these lines. This is a 38:1 case that Jeepy posted in my Bully thread. They are at 66g stock is 83g. 17g/0.5oz is good. And there is way more meat on the 65:1 cases so i am thinking you could get an once out if them. I will only do the rear as i dont want to spend the time to do the front just to move the weight to the knuckles. I lost 24g/0.85oz by turning down my 2.2 bully rear axles so by turning these down it should be at least 1oz. So tubes, lw knuckles, and grinding the cases should be at least a 3oz weight savings.

Now we just need delrin tubes........Erik?:ror:

They would have to have some beef where the links attach to eliminate the holes hogging out with the length of the tubes.

I have been wanting to turn mine down...

I promised him I would not pester him about it... Maybe I should not have said it :lmao:

I probably bother him enough for the both of us! But one more for the cause doesn't hurt.

Delrin tubes with Eric's link mounts to eliminate any holes in the tube! Sweetness!!!!!

Nice, I saw those in your other thread.

Bother him. He likes it!!

I couldn't wait any longer so i pulled the rx out of my 2.2 and did my best to copy the radio setup onto a new model mem. w/ rear steer on ch 4/ left stick right/left. It seems good like this but it is a little confusing. I will see how it goes with more practice.

Holy shit:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: Supers kick ass!! Reading threw these threads you guys had me worried about the 55t motors and 7950s but it seems to work fine. The steering is a little weak in the front but i don't see the need to change the rear out anytime soon. And the 55t's on 3s w/ 15t pinions seam to have plenty of wheels speed. About the same as my 2.2 anyway.
