These aren't the most scale looking tow straps around but they are dead simple to make and require a minimum of supplies and effort. Be sure to use the most hideous colors available for that custom look 8)
This is all that's required: a lighter, a length of paracord, heat shrink tube and a couple screw-in hooks.

First, gut the paracord and slide the heat shrink tube to the middle.

Insert a hook into each end of the paracord until the shoulder of the hook is completely inside.

Give the paracord a good melt with the lighter so it forms around the shoulder. At this point you could apply a few drops of CA glue for added strength. Mine is petrified so I have to get a new bottle.

Slide the heat shrink tube up to cover everything.

Shrink the tube with the lighter and they're done.

So fast and easy, you can make a whole pile of them. "thumbsup"
