The 2012 season kicks off tomorrow with A1.

Is Ryan Villopoto going to keep up his domination, or will someone else be able to take him out? Is Stewart going to shine with now that he's part of JGR? Dungey gonna tear it up on the KTM? I'm personally hoping Reed takes TwoTwo Motorsports to the top.

I'll be fine with Reed taking out Stewart, and Villopoto winning to though.

Personally I'm a Dungey fan, but after seeing RV carry the momentum through the Monster Energy cup I think the boys are going to have to step up to keep up. Stewart...eh I like to watch him fail purely due to his attitude, though things may be different now that he's with JGR

Agreed "thumbsup":ror:

Wrong!

Yea Villopoto is going to be hard to beat.

I feel exactly the same way about Stewart. I think he just signed the JGR deal so he can get himself into a NASCAR. He's already been out testing in one... I say good, let him go drive in circles with all the other arrogant pricks.

I don't know that Dungey will win, but I like when Dungey wins. Is Dungey going to be on a 450 or are they still noodling around with that 350? Where's Picklewagon? He might know a thing or two about that. RV is a brat. I don't enjoy watching him win, because I have to watch him snivel when he doesn't win. Trey Cannard is still a factor and I'll be watching for him.

In the Lites, I enjoy watching that wonk-eyed Scottish-Canadia kid, he's just a funny awkward dope. I like him. Barcia reminds me of Bob Hannah. I'd love to see Barcia get it all put together and take a Championship.

I'm excited for the season to start. Bummed that I can't make it to the PHX race but am kicking around going to the SD round.

It's great when Reed or Dungey win, so-so if RV does and a real bummer when Stewart takes it. Cannard is fun to watch ride but I hope he wrecks a lot because I can't stand his "sweet baby jesus" post race interviews.

Dungey is on the 2013 450 if I remember correctly, not the silly 350 the others were on last year. I do agree about RV's attitude (as well as a few others), and that's one of the reasons I am a Dungey fan, the guy has a great attitude and is consistent as hell. Not really a fan of the god talk on the podium, but it doesn't offend me. Obvioiusly he will have to overcome the first year bike/team bugs, but he has a good team and KTM is putting $$ into this team. Anyone else hear that Reed tried to pick up Dungey for this season, but KTM offered WAY more money?

I'd also like to see Windham win a race, that guy has been around forever! Another cool guy too!

As for lites, go Bam Bam! I'm interested to see if Roczen can keep it on track this year too, he was wild for the bit of the season he raced last year!

Love Windham too an I would like to see him win a couple. Reed is dirty and cant beat Stewart straight up but he doesnt have too since Stewart crashes consistantly.

Jason, how you could say Stewart is an arrogant prick and not label Reed the same way is beyond me :ror:

Guess I like Stewart because when he stays on 2 wheels he wins. I hope the team switch works out for him. I never really thought about him trying to get his foot in the Nascar door.. Makes sense though..

I'm hoping to make it to the San Diego race.

I always go to the opener but with a broken leg that won't be happening.

Yeah, never was a big Bubba fan. "thumbsup"

Then again, I never cared for Carmichael either. :ror:
I used to be Bubba's biggest fan. I thought he would take Travis Pastrana's place as the SX/MX posterchild....then he turned into an arrogant prick.

Carmichael was the opposite. I didn't like him for years, then he changed his attitude and now I am a big fan. :ror:"thumbsup"

I always gotta root for Reed, he's a stand-up good guy. Windham has always been a favorite, even before his big crash.

I think RV will win, and I'm ok with that.

I am a Stewart fan, I know I know, but my last name is also Stewart so its kind of hard not to be! When he is on he is on, he just needs some consistency.

No matter who you are rooting for everyone has to agree on one thing...Last year was probably the best SX season ever and this one should be more of the same. I cant remember a time when there were so many contenders, at least not in the years I have been watching.

Much better than the years when RC dominated, I stopped following for a couple years because it wasnt exciting anymore. I hated RC and was rooting for Reed just because he always finished second. Now I cant stand the guy, talk about an arrogant prick! Cry me a river about not having a factory ride, in outdoor as soon as all the factory Honda guys started getting hurt they started giving him a good deal of support and I bet they were helping him before that. If a Honda is on the podium they are going to be happy no matter if it is their bike or a 22 motorsports bike, obviously they would rather it be their bike but if its between Reed and a Yamaha or Kawasaki then I think the choice is obvious.

I cant wait for another great season of SX!

Does it show up on Speeds listings for everyone else? They dont show it but their listings are typically screwed up through MotoGP season as well.

If we recap last year, Stewart will most likely be the one taking someone out. Being from Washington and having been a racer when Ryan was a local 80 phenom I hope his reign on top last as long as possible, he is a great guy from a great family. But it would be kind of cool if Decoster with KTM could get Dungey in the top three. But Chad Reed riding Honda's would be an awesome sight with a big number 1 going into 2013.
