What sway bar are y’all running on your Bombers? Years ago I ran the vanquish but the set screws would always become loose so I settled on the plastic Axial version. I just bought a Bomber (I know “outdated”) but the price was crazy and in new condition.

i make my own i am mostly using insulation supports 14.75 long peice of spring steel about 3mm thick probably find them at homedepo for cheap but any spring steel wire will do paper sign frame light shelving bbq grills
as long as its about 3mm thick and springy it should work
that with a few rod ends and they make great sway bars
i use this on everyting from my wpl d12 up to the yeti xl
you control how stiff they are by the length of the arms longer softer shorter stiffer

I prefer the axial sway bar to avoid the potential set screw issues. Been running it for several years trouble free on my bomber.

I picked up the reefs sway bar for my Miller creation and it is a pretty nice piece.

Hey Ferp,
Any pics of your homemade sway bar? Sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like the axial one is still the way to go, now I need to find one. I sure am excited to start this build and to start throwing some upgrade parts at it. The Bomber was my favorite rig back in the day closely followed by my Wraith.

I bought one of these i was trying to use for the miller (couldn't find the axial bar) but the width didn't work out in that chassis. The arms are decent, but the actual bar is junk, but it would be compatible with the axial yeti bar set that is still pretty easy to find.

I used the reefs arms in the miller, but the actual bar is just some piano wire that i filed some flat spots into.

I second using the axial on my bomber.

I hate set screws if there is a reasonable way to do it without.

I also think set screws are a bad design for sway bars.

If you want a ready to go kit, I wonder if the sway bar kit from the element enduro gatekeeper would fit in the bomber. I could check on this when I get home this weekend if needed.

Now I am looking at the high altitude back half that comes with sway bar, but he might be out of business or no longer making them.
