T1E ''Ti Fighter''

so the knuckles from Christian, are those considered a berg knuckle or an axial knuckle? I was wondering about that. I don't have 300's yet and was looking at his knuckles

Added some more weight and got the tie rod fixxed for the new zero ackerman knuckel's. Running zero ackerman and having 54 degress's of steering i hardly use the dig now.

Wow That is awesome, You say u don't use dig, but at a certain point doesn't the truck just push forward instead of steering in the direction ?

Hey Greg, is there any reason why you are running your knuckles facing forwards with these axles? I can't wait for them to go on pre order.

Thanks

I still use dig,I just use it alot less. Alot of truck out there do push in direction but if the truck is setup right it does'nt.

Yes, The axles are very narrow and there's not room the other way.

God bless who needs DIG with steering like that lolol.
:):)

Greg are you using .063 or .094" carbon sheet for the lowers? ...upper cage too? I have been running .094" Delrin uppers with no problem and am thinking of trying .063" in Delrin or nylon, have you ever tried stuff that thin in anything other than CF?

.094 is pretty close to what im using. The problem with carbon is there's alot of people that make junk stuff and its hard to find the good stuff. I have gotton some real junk before and it just doesnt hold up. I think you can speical order a 1/16 cab from Rockshow and it holds up great.

I've had good luck with the .094" thick carbon I use... just wondering if any had tried .063" for T1E type lowers?

No,I haven't tryed it that thin. I think that would be to thin and brake out or crack.

Yeah, I suspect that the lower link mount holes wouldn't survive too long. I'd be fine for a shelf queen, but we don't do shelf queens around here "thumbsup"
