Looks a bit strange to me ;-)
but it is cool that even tamiya is even trying to enter the crawler scene.
(cantis, etc)

the tyres look like a mix between the Rock crushers and moabs "thumbsup"

Looks purty good if you want a fun trial rig "thumbsup"

Edit:What the!, these look like real functioning beadlocks!
i want to see more pics of theis interesting rig

I just searched Tamiya Club and nothing came up. It looks really interesting though. I wish there was a better picture of the axles. The beadlocks look great too.

land cruiser hard body? finaly not another fcking ford, im game!!!
hopefully its not lexan. although im sure it would be very popular scale body even if it was.

if nothing else the rails would make a good chassis for a scaler, similiar to a MFM..
its almost like they know were gonna hack off and throw away all that lower plastic.........its got lots of shock holes, and upper and lower link holes....

Look for more details to emerge from a major hobby show in Europe this week.....

Look for a killer scale body with real beadlocks.......

Look closely at the wheel pics you can see the added mat'l for the beadlock screw. Doubt it will be a hard body also, should be lexan

This looks awsome.

Instant scaler and you do not have to remove/pay for the three speed.

The beadlocks look faux. There are no fasterners.

This truck should also be affordable enough for most. The price of the Hilux/High lift has kept me from buying one.

Judging by the shape/size of the body mounting post it looks like a hard body, (Clod style vs TLT style post, this looks more like a clod)

here is another site

Who woulda thought it possible for Tamiya to release and even worse and uglier chassis for a "Crawler" vehicle.

Man least we have Axial making things look more ready for the rocks.

Okay, links work now, (must have just been my comp). Looks pretty sweet! I could easily see this with a newer Wrangler body on it. I wonder if they just re-used the TLT axles or High-lift/Hilux axles, or if they gave us something completely new? I see steering lock-outs on the rear.

C'mon, Tamiya, make this one under $200 in kit form, and I will be VERY happy!

Well, I'm pretty impressed. I hope it will come with a hard body, and a 3speed gearbox. Then we will have the new bruiser, well it is the esc they recommend for a 3speed.
