Its been about 18months since I bought/built a gun so I decided to get something with tax returns but, I dont know what. I had planned to build a dedicated .22 ar but, not sure I want to.

I already have:
RRA full match ar15
muaser k98 sporter in 25-06
10-22
several single shot .22
savage super sporter 45 in 30-06
XDm 9mm
Beretta 96
sks
and several others not of note.

I have my own 75yd range (can be 100yd but we have to push back to close to the road). So, I want to keep the caliber lower (for cost also).

so... ideas? Doesnt have to be new, I like surplus stuff

I really want a suppressed .22 pistol. Bad thing is you end up spending about $1,000 to make it all happen.

You should take your 10/22 and call up tactical solutions, or get a mosin nagant kinda big caliber but dirt cheap surplus ammo

I've been eyeballing a Serbu Remington 870 super shorty for a while. They are classified as "AOW" not an "SBR", so getting one of these is relatively easy.

My FFL guy build suppressors for .22's for $150. $200 tax stamp. So $350 + the pistol. It's easy to keep it in the $650-750 range"thumbsup"

a couple of thoughts...

1.) isnt a gun something you DON'T want to cheap out on?
2.) why buy a cheap chineese pos and not something made in america?

ATI GSG-5 would be cool for the 22 cal MP5 look. Probably not super accurate at any distance, but I'm sure way better than the old TEC22.

Looks like somebody's stocking up for the zombie apocalypse. :ror:

Nope,I just dont sell anything,my grandfathers, uncle and cousin all left me
thiers. That really bolstered my collection. And my dad has his guns, though the only ones that are his in the pics is the 10 ga and the 1911

But that take down trapper is sweeeet
45 colt is great in a 16" barrel,I know I have one in a ranger model 94ae

The piston grip lever action, and take down would make it a nice wall hanger
to go with my 1886 with takedwon barrel with piston style lever.:)

I know this is a repost,I dont care,I think it fits me pretty good

hell that bottom shelf is only 22,22mag,22hornet and shotgun shells
the top 2 shelfs is where its really at:)
hell a gun aint no fun if you cant shoot it!
my brother in law will shoot 500rds easy in a day if I dont say something
And I'm damn near as bad,so I try to keep plenty stocked up

I would say my ruger pc4 is probably one of a favorite guns to shoot.
alot of people have issues with jamming appearently.
I shoot alot, and I soot alot of ammo when I shoot,it has never jammed on me once.I have probably put close to 2,000 rds through it.I only use brass,I never use steel in anything ever,It tends to expand to much for me,and cause
ejection issues.

The pc4 is a tack driver too,up close and personal, this is a serious home defense option worth considering.

For something exotic, try a 22 hornet,I have one with a double set trigger,
the ammo is kinda high, but at 150-200yds,I prefer it over a .17,the .17 tears up to much, the 22 hornet has great knockdown, and a rabbit is still worth cleaning afterwards.

And this..............this is good cheap fun...........
My OG diasy model 25:) they started making a reproduction model,so I picked one up for my kid.
Its a pos,I mean real china quality at its worst.

But this baby here shots hard as new.
