Tekin rs and hotwire issue

Looking for advice. I have a hotwire that I use for my tekin escs, running it via the app on my phone. Works fine for multiple fxrs and a rs pro. But when I plug my rs in the app sees the ESC (pops the name at the top) but the rest of the screen and menus are blank. I can't change any settings. The ESC works fine and I can program it with the buttons and blinky lights but I need to reverse the motor rotation and that can only be done with the app.

So, what is going on?

More data points. One of my fxr does the same thing as the rs. I did notice the fxr that isn't working showed v30 while the one that did is listed as v28. The rs was v168 I believe.

Maybe a firmware version issue?

Anyone else using the hotwire app having issues?
