Complete overkill for crawlers... 8)

Man I just bought a new fx-r for the losi crawler, wish I would have waited

Oh no, don't think that, the FX-R is a killer ESC. Nothing better for a brushed motor crawler.

What price do we expect to see?

I have no idea, but if their target is the Castle Monster Max, it should be close in price, and the Castle controller is ~$170.

After I posted I thought about it, and the last fx-r I had was great nope problems what so ever. So I will stick with what I got

Judging by other models they have out, it will probably be closer to $250 street price. The 1/10th RS pro they have is around $220

Ok Ok, I will move it back. I wouldn't mind seeing somebody run a 21.5 motor on 6s lipo :D

I don't have room to talk, I put the MOnster Max in my crawler.

I have been using Monster MAX ESCs for my 1/8th conversions, but this new Tekin model looks interesting to try. It may be overkill for a crawler, but I may try one in my soon to be started MOA Crawler build.

The Rx8 housing mold is being cut currently right here in Idaho. It takes weeks to cut a good mold due to very small cutters and delicate work.

A pre-production run of T8 motors is due in next week.

A preproduction run of circuit boards should be done this month.

The packaging designs are just being finalized and look sweet.

We are shooting for release by Feb 26. Its what I want for my birthday!

The proto speedos and motors continue to work excellent for us. We have no major technical issues to deal with and just have to build them.

Not really designed specifically for crawlers, but should work as well as any sensored BL system or better. The RS is a smaller and lower cost option that should be the right answer really. I have a RS and 21.5 in my crawler but honestly perfer the Fxr and a brushed motor for feel. This is double the size and meant for extreme 1/8 scale loads.
