Temecula valley scale crawlers

New spot was kind of a bust. Mostly just boulders, but there were a few decent spots to mess with

Looking into motor/ ESC combos. Running an 18T Novak Crawler and CC Mamba Max ESC. Tekin looks promising. Not sure if I should go 35T or 55T. 55T seems like there wouldn't be enough wheel speed maybe?

I am running an 18T Novak motor in my Honcho. I'm looking into putting that motor into my Wroncho build and putting a slower motor into my Honcho. I'm looking at Tekin's stuff and trying to decide if I should do a 35, 45, or 55T motor. I'm sure any of those will be heaps better than what I got now, but need some help. I'm sure a 35T may be best. I've heard the RTR Honchos had a stock 55T Axial motor. How'd that do? Too slow?

I want something nice and smooth, yet able to have enough speed to blip over things, or if I get stuck

Kind of leaning toward the 35T anyway

I read that 35T and higher can take 3S... and my 2 spare batts are 3S and my main batt is 2S, so was leaning toward the 35T combo with FXR ESC

The scx10 came with a 27t motor, the 55t would be too slow I think. I would put in a 30t or a 35t [emoji106]

35T are no longer made by Tekin. They switched over to 30T, 40T and 50T. 30T is the way to go
Odd, Amazon is showing 35, 45, and 55T in stock

Perhaps just surplus? Did they just recently stop making them?

Nevermind, I just bought the 30T since it's the Pro model "thumbsup"

That is going into my Honcho. Also got a new solid output gear for the one I broke

Bought a disassembled tranny for the Wroncho too

Wanted to work on my links, but left the dremel tool at the parent's, duh

Can't even measure them because my tape measure got left at the parent's as well, haha
