One thing bugs me about the Terminator franchise: The way the machines wage war on mankind.

You're thinking too hard about it. :ror:

BTW - Skynet does not jump into a massive assembly of terminators... there are very few of them to begin with, and most of them not capable of recreating new ones. Most of the ones seen in the new movie are probably prototypes from the military or law enforcement.

Another move of machines vs man, The Matrix, actually had a really decent plot destroyed by one horrible actor. Man created this AI which in turn became "self aware" and wanted rights of their own. Man said no and banished them where they established their own nation. Wanting to be a part of mans world and again being denied is when the retaliated. At the time they were solar powered... which is when man blacked out the sky... so then the machines had to adapt and used the humans, not destroy them.
