ive been trying to find olive drab paint with no luck till i found testors enamel olive drab will this work on my rig lexan boby?

Enamel is not hot enough to etch itself to the lexan. If you paint it with enamel, it will eventually peel off in layers. The Testors Pactra paint will work however because it is made for Lexan. Try looking for a lacquer based olive drab, lacquer is chemically hot enough to etch itself to Lexan.

Nope, their OD is for plastic models, it won't work much better than the Testors or Model Master Enamel.


If the OP is willing to airbrush his paint, he could mix lacquer thinner with the Enamel and it should work well from what I under stand.

I suggest looking at hobby Lobby or a place like that for the water based paint that seems similar in make-up as the Parma fastcolor stuff. I found paints there for my camo type projects...

Since its made to be applied with a brush you'll need to thin it if you use an airbrush....

I think they use the paint for "toll painting"....
