that a boy

Good shot, but I have a qustion if any LEO on here wants to address. I understand shooting, but what about the consequences of a full blown shoot out in a populated area like this. What if the bystander missed and hit a kid?

"Oops... my bad. That kid shouldn't have been standing there." :ror:

What if no body did nothing and he killed the cop, then kill 50 60 people in the park. What if.

50-60 dead Texans is a pretty decent start. :flipoff: If they happen to be lawyers then even better.

I am not arguing the fact he shot, or why. Just a what if something bad happened. Would the bystander get charged for trying to help

He'd be crucified by the media, that is for sure.

Why does everything have to turn negative ? He shot the guy.....He saved a life.....in my eyes he is a HERO!!!!!!!!!

I agree, the guy is a hero, I was just saying the media would have torn him a new one had it gone differently and he had hurt a bystander. At that point I would hope the bystanders would be ducking for cover.

Id imagine it'd depend on the areas D.A. as to whether or not criminal charges could be pursued. Assuming he has a CCW...Its not unlawful to use his weapon in defense of others but there's always a loophole when "the man" needs one.

He'd DEFINITELY be open to a civil suit though.

I was telling my girlfriend about this story this morning. She asked, "What state did all of this take place"? I told her Texas and she said, "I would have thought Arkansas".

That is a small town in a VERY rural area of Texas.....I doubt they'd do anything to him.

Yep, this guy is a fawkin stud muffin. LOL
My dad always told me "Boy, you don't fawk with old people"

Nah....in Arkansas the disagreement wouldn't have been over dog poop, it would have been between two brothers and which one claimed their sister first.

Being a CHL holder in TX - if you shoot an innocent bystander its punishable by law as fit.

But i give the guy "thumbsup""thumbsup" If he had not done the right thing many could have been injured.

Having a CHL comes with many responsibilities, you always have to think about the pros and cons.
