Anyone still into punk rock?

Just bought their new album off iTunes "Mariachi El Bronx" and am pleasantly surprised that this is from The Bronx. To hear a band go from Knifeman to Cell Mates is an amazing transformation or re-invention or whatever you want to call it.

hmmm. i like the bronx, but the mariachi thing is, uh, interesting. still undecided...

and yes punk has changed a lot. i still regularly listen to shit like the bad brains, the germs, the casualties and the dead kennedys...

Most everything is just lumped together in one category because it's so diverse there would be a category for every band.

The mariachi stuff is growing on me. You can check out their MySpace page and sample the album. Got it on repeat right now. Good background music for a calm day like today. 8)

Its not bad...but you said punk I expected much better, like their non-mariachi stuff.
