" THE METAMORPHOSIS " Death of the Bodiless Sportsman

nice crawler can you put up a pic with the bodie off i would like to see how you did the bodie mount.I have a fastback2 chassiaq and went to a vanqiush chassis too just for the fun of it.:lmao:

Like i had said my old bender chassis performed just as well as my FB II the only major diff is i dont belly out as much but since i rebuilt my benders chassi and fixed the skid it does about the same as my FB II does on belling out and all i had to do was shorten it a lil and rake the skid by using a dremel.

I don't want to create any Drama so, I sent you personal mail instead. I did not want to hurt anyones FEELINGS. :lmao:

Took it out for some Crawling yesterday. CrawlingCalvin was in attendance. We where both very impressed with its abilities. With changing the tires to the Proline Hammers, and the Chassis change, it was pulling some incredible lines and Steep climbs."thumbsup"
I did finially get to order up some clockable Axial C-hubs and High clearence Knuckles yesterday for this rig. This will make a real difference in its crawling abilities. ( I was able to Justify the purchase with the Wifey do to Carnage on my Foff by My Son :lmao:). I will be removing the 3 Racing C-hubs and Knuckles from this rig and updating the Foff with them. They will be perfect for the Foff build.

You'd better backpedal that thing...don't want to do too good and make them decide to ban aftermarket chassis and aluminum upgrade parts. :ror:

:lmao:They through the first stone. In was happy with the "OG Chassis". What is even better is the Hardline body does exceptional on rollover recovery too. All I ve done is make this rig even better. All I can say is Thank you to the local Comp for making me back step.:ror:

Did some updates to this rig today. I removed the 3racing Knuckles,C-hubs and transmission housing. I replace the Knuckles and hubs with the Axial Clockable C's and High clearence Knuckles. I had to order a new Servo Horn though, the HR one is not long enough to get the job done. I replaced the Transmission housing with a stock plastic one. It still has all RRP gears and one piece output. So, It is still bullet proof.
I had ordered some rear Axial lockouts but, they are now back ordered through RC BOCA. I am hoping they may come into stock tomorrow. Atleast that is what I have been told by JR.

I hated to tear it down but, I need to update the knuckles and C's anyways. This way I was able to recycle the Aluminum parts to put into my Foff build.
In my opinion the Foff turned out really nice just waiting on the Painter to get free to do the body.

I saw that chassis I thought seriously about buying it. I really like the VP chassis, I just wish I would have started using them before.
