The next big thing: RC Demo Derby!

Na!! Wait till the reciever crystal breaks and the car goes hog wild. Then you'll know its done!

They all need Lipo batteries mounted where the rear bumper is, and a single finishing nail sticking out the front. That'd make it real interesting.

Protect your rear!

There's a dusty lot full of cinders at the GTG site, so that's where we'll run 'em. There WILL be video.

This is a TT-01, with Wheely King electronics and motor. Nothin' special, all disposable stuff.

I think what's gonna kill the cars, just like 1:1 DD, is the body getting caught in the wheels. But a few smokers would make things interesting for sure.

And Jason, you hit with the rear, protect your front ;-)

I ran 1:1 DD for five years back in the 90's. Made the feature once, but I usually managed to sell the car for more than I bought it for. Or just left it at the track

EDIT: pics. The Merc made the feature, but the frame was spread so far the rear wheels were locked. Too rusty, but waddaya want for $100? The T-Bird ran out of fuel

That is a very scary idea. You know how dangerous those darn lipo are.

Yes, Microgoat is right. Got to protect the front.

How about figure 8 racing like they had on Spike. Maybe Busses, or Trucks pulling camper homes!

Not really the next big thing, as the rc banger racing is huge over in the UK. They even have there own kits available.

Always wanted to get into it but you need lots of cars for it to be fun.

Not very, we tried very hard to make something bad happen a few weeks ago here in Colorado and this is the end result. 666 pulled the axe out of my subaru and went to town:lol:

The new Lipos with magnesium (I think its magnesium...) are much safer than the ole polymers of a few years back.

Oh, that is so COOL! I want Video! Oh, and I'm sure that there will some hard-enough hits to take tires off rims, break suspension compnents, etc. etc. SOMETHING will stop these things!

Do you have any in-progress body construction pics? I'd like to see how you formed all that...

The pics of the bronco crushing this really made me think... I've been wanting to build a 1:1 style monster truck course in my yard and this would be so much cooler than the Lexan bodies I was planning on using.... hmmmmm.....
