****The official 2011 Christmas swag thread****

I bought myself a Tamiya TB01 and a 1/24th scale model 2004 Subaru Impreza rally Japan car.

Have not actually opened any presents yet.

I got a new camo hoody so far from the GF she bought it as a joke to replace my older one that i burnt a huge hole in! lol

bought my self a new headlamp for duck hunting.

more coming tomorrow!

I picked up some new Wera drivers with some Christmas Cash from the mother-in-law.

Found out today that my Secret Santa (from South Africa) on another forum sent me the exact same Wera drivers.

I haven't asked for anything, don't really want anything. Must be a sign of getting old or something.

I bought myself a new alternator to replace the one that died yesterday. Bye bye GoPro fund.

The wife got me a H&K USP airsoft pistol and ammo, and some cash to put back in the GoPro fund. "thumbsup"

A stocking cap from my son, "since I don't have any hair". :lmao:

Cash, a pocket knife, and a money clip from the local inlaws. The Texas inlaws sent us all Forever Lazys. Warm, yes, comfortable, yes, but you walk around the house feeling like a deflated Teletubbie. :ror:

Wife and kids got me a leather recliner and I took the family up to Flagstaff for a white Christmas. We'll see what else Santa brings tomorrow.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I can't say what tomorrow will bring, things got tight and I don't expect to get anything. But I do get to see my son open his new tv, and I snuck a gift for the wife. She'll whine cause we didn't have enough for her to get me anything, but at least I'll have a memory of my two most loved people having a smile.

So far I've received some money from work (not a paycheck either) and spent most of it on gifts for my Sister and Mom, gas for the Jeep, a few parts for my WK Monster Truck, vitamins and protein bars (for days I don't take a lunch), and a lunch at Portillo's. should be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.

Got mine yesterday! Both my girls connected... We left deer meat out for Santa, is that wrong?

yessir, an old hunting ritual passed down for generations... As long as I can remember that has always been the tradition in deer hunting

Considering our financial situation, and all that's happened over the last year, I would be thrilled to get a nice big hug and a merry christmas kiss from the wife and each of my kids in the morning.
I could care less about the material stuff, it's mostly just garbage anyway, the most important thing is, our little family will all be together to share a good meal and a happy day.
Yesterday we stopped at the store so my daughter could pick up something for herself with the cash she got in a card from grandma, she walked over to the Salvation Army lady ringing the bell and had a few words, then turned to me and said let's go Dad, as I moved towards the store enterance she told me she had put her $20 bill in the donation pail, at first I was shocked, "but sweetie, that's all you had for your gift"! I said, she explained me there was someone who probably needed it more, so we got back in the car and headed home empty handed, but with a warm glow in our hearts.
