Considering our financial situation, and all that's happened over the last year, I would be thrilled to get a nice big hug and a merry christmas kiss from the wife and each of my kids in the morning.
I could care less about the material stuff, it's mostly just garbage anyway, the most important thing is, our little family will all be together to share a good meal and a happy day.
Yesterday we stopped at the store so my daughter could pick up something for herself with the cash she got in a card from grandma, she walked over to the Salvation Army lady ringing the bell and had a few words, then turned to me and said let's go Dad, as I moved towards the store enterance she told me she had put her $20 bill in the donation pail, at first I was shocked, "but sweetie, that's all you had for your gift"! I said, she explained me there was someone who probably needed it more, so we got back in the car and headed home empty handed, but with a warm glow in our hearts.

Kids just plain get it. Congrats on raising your kid well. "thumbsup"

Being a single income family with 2 kids, I didn't ask for anything in particular. Hell, I'm happy with all the good food I get to enjoy. LOL

Best thing (and the worst thing at the same time) I got was the ability to go into my girlfriend and I new home. Its gonna take some work (we spent all of Christmas Eve vacuuming and cleaning carpets), but we should be able to ring in the new year in it.
I spent some on my girlfriend and a ton on my kids. Watching them open things up was the best part for me.

all in all it was a good day.got to see some family from vancouver island (they are leaving on tuesday) my sister and her boyfiend and my niece (10months old), drink some beer played some games.... the torch is already outside in the shop but im gonna set it up tomorrow and play with it."thumbsup" my dad got my mom a new digital camera so i get to have one of their old ones.. yay!!!

Well all the presents went to the kids of course"thumbsup" But Weve been rockin the old school tv's for to long and my pops shows up here Christmas eve like HO HO HO heres your new tv:shock: 47 inch Vizio 1080p flat screen BOO YAA So now I need to get a hdmi cable for hd and it's on.

Oh yea my little girl got a bunch of these zuh zuhpets or something and now I have a bunch of these little hampster things running around everywhere lol Well as long as she's happy i'm happy;-)
