The Ultimate Nerf Arsenal Build thread: (maybe)

I've seen the foam tipped bullets...I would imagine that if you could reshape the nose and take the blunt edge off of them it would help things quite a bit.

The foam may have improved a bit since I last played with one...they were pretty porous IIRC. But its been a couple of years.

Weight has a drastic effect when coupled with poor aerodynamics. Yes, it may leave the barrel at a high rate of speed, but it won't maintain it for long with a flat nose.

I think your best bet would be the sniper rifle. With its longer barrel you'll have more time to accelerate it before it hits the open air. More time means a less violent blast of air which means less chance of destroying it.

now that would make it interesting

Nose isn't a suction cup, see image below for the dart i'll be using...and yes i realize that the friction of air will cause a greater deceleration than a heavier object...but i'm not shooting 100 yards away. The purpose of the CO2 is to make rapid fire easy, and efficient and make all the single shots semi auto. Then for the chain gun, be able to blaze out 10-20 darts per second.

Sniper=Long range defense,
8 dart rifle revolver= short range offensive
6 dart pistol revolver = oh shit defense
Vulcan Chain gun = hoard buster (zombies camp out at the exits to the 200 person lecture halls. Today i watched like 15 humans get in formation at the exit and opened the door and shot down like 50 zombies, then ran for their lives before the zombies were back in the game

The dart you have shown has what looks like a breather hole in it. Fill that with epoxy resin. Should add a decent amount of weight to carry them further faster.

Man I'm getting old. I remember when you used to go to school to learn something.

Either way, sounds fun.
