sorry if i sound completely stupid but how would you wire it would you need another ESC or could you just use a 3 way switch

You would need a radio that has 3 or 4 channels....if you have a 4 channel you can have both independent rear steer and a winch control.

You would need a radio that has 3 or 4 channels....if you have a 4 channel you can have both independent rear steer and a winch control.

A cool set-up would be a radio like the VG6000. It has a 3 position flaps switch (3 position toggle with center off). Once you mod a servo for winch duty you can spool the winch out, in and turn it off all with a flip of the switch.

The VG also has another on/off switch used for landing gear on planes that could be used for numerous other gizmos.
