Thinking of getting a venom creeper

My creeper is heavily modified, mostly RMDW and some homemade stuff. I did not use any parts from other crawlers except axial driveshafts. Now I also have a losi comp crawler and a night crawler, my creeper is slighty better performing than the night crawler and can actually hang with the LCC and on some courses exceeds it!! I always wanted a creeper and knew what I was getting into but figured after my experience running the losi's I would be able to make the creeper perform and I have!! Can't say enough about the work RMDW does for this crawler, my favorite product has to be "lincoln lockers" without this solution you would have to switch out the axles, the stock ring and pinion/locker is pathetic may last 2 packs if your lucky!! In perspective I bought my creeper for $100. used and all the upgrades including tires I'm still under $200. (not with electronics!!) If you buy a new one you will spend more than a LCC box stock so running a creeper is challenging alternative. Buy it and good luck!!!

Good stuff fishonRon.. I'm with ya everywhere other then the Lcc an lnc.. lol.. a friend had one tho.. I have a full on Rmdw paradox'd creeper, as said above kills it! I went with a safari dig in mine an comp'd in the pro class all season.. getting laughed at before I started the first course an praise or quite mouths when done for the day! One on the for sale section for 110$ right now

I actually just bought the one for 110 I am really excited to get it and see how it is I have a rs10 now and I like that I also want a shaft driven crawler to see the difference and maybe do a custom scale chassis out of 1/2 square channel and try for a creeper scaler lol see where it goes..... And ya the tips and tricks there is a lot of stuff there just got to hunker down and read lol good luck

my 1.9 scaler uses creeper axles and dinky r/c drivetrain ( the ddk set up ) , if you want to see it look in the 1.9 scaler section for the zombee apocalypse rig "thumbsup".

You can make some sweet crawlers with them. I made one for my son and myself. I used an SCX10 chassis for my sons and an RC4WD for mine though I sold mine now as I needed the money. I have been running a axial lately as I got it in trade on some of my stuff. Enjoy the creeper. They are good rigs!

Definately check out rmdw tips and tricks. I pretty much did everything that was suggested and it crawls much much better than stock

I have been reading allot in this forum trying to Learn.
I have had rc planes and trucks and i think thus will be a good crawler for me to learn with.
