ok heres the deal. a guy at the local track has 27 turn motors non adjustable timing. he told me that he twists the armature to get more speed out of th emotors (which would be advancing the timing) but has to replace the brushes more often. if anyone knows what hes talking about or know how to do it let me know. try to post up pics if you can. thanks

its a common "CHEAT" in racing, there is not an easy way to see if one has done it... The reason it wears brushes faster, is it fires incorrectly and prematurely wears the leading edge. Im not sure which way to turn it but it is common practice

ok thanks for lettin me know some of that caue we have an unlimited class run anything u want and i have a spare p2k i want to do that to and run it in my pede. i asked the owner and he said if i can figure it out then he dosent care if i do it caues its an sunlimited class. thanks

I believe you turn it clockwise. I've seen some racers do it on armatures that were on their last cut.

You can tell because the wire at the comm is pulled sideways as you spin the armature.

i know to advance it u turn it counter clockwise but i ahve no clue what to turn or how to do it and yah thats why im doin it caues my p2k is pretty well shot mabee 2 weeks left on it. thanks
