the last one, those are miky thompson baja claws with every other tread cut out.

ya I know, I didn't go a buddy of mine has been the recovery guy for TTC for the last few years. I almost went but the event promoters are super anal about extra passes this year.

A local went to top truck but he is an alternate they still let him run his truck...

oh and his truck is called the flaming cheeto its a 70's chevy thats chopped and has 49" irocs....

thats the BRAKE! Its basically like inboard breaking. On a rockwell your options are either run drum airbrakes, a very expensive conversion, or run in board brakes. The PTO output on the axle makes a great place to mount a brake and, the gearing in the axle makes it so you are using the gears to help with the braking, thus you need smaller brakes to stop huge tires. I think extreme 4x4 used a set on their budget buggy and they did the inboard's.
 
This year was the first IA person to get in and took 3 place. He is a great guy and have wheeled with him a couple of times.
