Toyota SR5 1985

Very nice quality parts, they look like you could use them to produce molds for resin copies of the parts. I really like the dash board, can you share how you did the speedometer gauges?

I've seen these exact decals on Ebay the guy who has em, I've bought stuff before from..

Only thing useful is the actual cluster decal on this set and it looks like it might be a low quality image print.. Mr.Rcnerds has all the proper peices including the 4x4 shift pattern label on the glovie..

There's gotta be another decal set somewhere to order just can't find it.

I simply use printed speedometer and put small piece of lexan on it : )

The chassis is almost ready. I am not really good at gluing plastic so I use here inner fenders from Axial. In the chassis I cut a little battery case and the receiver box to make room for the interior, with was made form styrene. In future here will be more stuff, of course 3d printed. To hold body on it I use 20x3mm magnets. New receiver box now is from traxxas. And YES the cable from the phone to connect the lights.
HELLO- is it me you're building for?

Where did the fender liners come from? I haven't seen that style before.

Its Axial lexan fender look HERE

are those magnet body mounts? if so, where did you get them? do they work well?

Yes I use Strong magnets like THIS
And I placed it on THIS in front, in rear I use standard body post with those magnets. Other magnets are glued to body with Shoe goo glue Yes it works well.

That phone line is a brilliant idea to dodge the "birds nest" wiring that rear tail lights entail. Very impressed with your finesse.. ooh that ryhmed..

:D

I know what my 2nd trail truck is going to be! Your detail work is amazing.

After your done with this you should get some interior parts on shapeways for the Jeep Kit body and RTR!

Toyota body is painted and ready for all 3D printed parts.
The red orange-white paint is a loose interpretation of the iconic Toyota 80s paintings. Lexan was painted from the outside for matte lacquer paint. Weathering may be improved later.

I see a PS-60 door and I want it painted PS-55
No colors anymore I want them to turn PS-55 ; )

Everything fits perfectly. Car is ready to run outside, and it performs well. I set chassis for Scaled competition and take 4th place :) ( I run without winch.. and lost on the last special stage. So next step will be adding Warn winch. Now I will focus on interior few parts. I will post more pictures from outside soon : )

Truck looks awesome!!
If you release these interior parts soon, I'll add them to the Dinky Rc honcho interior I have waiting to be put in. It fits well inside the Sr5 body even though it was designed for the Honcho, I'll try my best to work it in there and make these interior peices fit.

Here's my truck so far using some of your parts. Still have to add your door handles and rear window frame but so far they have worked out excellent! Thank you for sharing these fantastically scale parts!!
