After I finished building my TXT (Pede tranny, 65T Axiom, GRU, 5955 front servo, Traxxas 2215 Rx, 6 cell 7.2V batt) which has a TR2, everything ran perfectly fine. I decided to hook up the rear steer (using a 645MG) and it ran well for a few runs. Then, nothing.

When turn on the TR2, the LED is dim and blinks rapidly at a fast pace.

Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Jeremy

My bet is the drain from the 5955 and then adding another servo killed it, been there done that!

I would get some EPA's on that radio to before you fry the 5955 too.

Try disconnecting the small red wire on the ESC, use a receiver pack and see if it will work then, you might have just taken out the BEC.

Really?

Damn. When I bought the servo from TCS, I read that you could fry it when using two robot servos or ultra torque servos, but didnt think that the 645 would fall in that category.

What is an EPA?

BTW, the Tx that I am using is a TQ3 with rear steer mod.

I just found the answer to my question.

Have you got any suggestion for end point adjustments and how to set them up? The sticky TQ3 thread at the top shows the potentiometers wired to a TQ3, but I am not that familiar with them or how to set them up.

I edited the other post.

EPA=end point adjustments

I fried my TR2 using 2 jr125's, Tekin said it was from overloading the BEC.

They also said if you hook the servo power wires to the short red wire on the ESC you won't have any problems again.

Hook the servos to the small 1.5" long wire coming from the ESC? What is this wire for? I cant find a description of it in the user manual. I have never hooked a servo to an ESC before.

Thats what they told me, hook the servo power wire to the shorty!;-)

Do you know what that wire is for? I was wondering that when I installed the ESC and right now it is not hooked up to anything, just flying free....
