I don't know of too many cases where someone comes home all stoned and beats up their wives or children..

Ask my wife that question who's ex used to do that to her when he was stoned Almost killed her and her daughter when she was pregnant..

The only reason they dont legalize it is because anyone can grow it anywhere and they couldnt tax it like they can alcohol... Lets bring up gambling boats, how many lives has that destroyed?? I know of more of them than people killed by accidents. :shock:

Alcohol and tobacco sales and legality are tolerated because they make money and do not have the social and religious stigma attached to them as marijuana does. Even though they kill or physically harm millions of people each year. Way, way, way more than marijuana does.

Personally I do not care for the stuff, but I believe 100% that it should be legalized everywhere, if not for recreational use then for medicinal purposed. I've had enough family members and friends suffer not only from pain but from the side effects of pharmaceuticals too see that if there is a natural alternative with fewer and less detrimental side effects than it should be available.

If it were medically legal, I would use it instead of what I take now for my migraines, which pretty much make me useless for the day, as well as cause a handful of other problems.

i know i might lead people on, and make jokes that i use drugs but the truth to the matter is i have been sober for 14 years, and i am a state employee.

so the law doesn't make no nevermind to me... i'm just looking at the facts and statistics based off states that have legalized it, and countries that have reported drops in petty street level crimes after going green.

two things you can't trick are mother nature and science.

his was prob laced with something like angel dust, or coke.

gambling destroyeds life aswell. drinking destroys losts of lives with out the accidents involved. from getting drunk and beating on the wife children etc... be drunk in a bar and think ur bullet proof, and start fights in there. someone gets stabbed or shot etc.. achool make alot of people vilent... weed comes people down makes u relaxed

but.. if someone was to hit a another car at 20 mph there is a better posability that everyone will live. compared to the druck driver hiting the same car at 100 mph some one will not make it at that speed... hinse the weed would be a better case

An accident where a sober person doing 80 on the freeway hits a DUI person doing 20 is just as bad as a DUI person doing 80 hits a person doing 20.

BTW, when I lived in Dallas, I remember a story on the morning news of a guy driving the wrong way down the freeway....he had smoked his fair share earlier that night. Oh, but he wasnt speeding...:ror:

that's exactly what i was thinking, you should be thankful for potheads cause you got your sweet little wifey due to some stoner's bad choices.

although out of either strain of marijuana the indica or the sativa i have never heard, read, or even personally experienced any incline negative behavior other than being too calm or maybe being spacey. that's just me, but i bet you can throw me in the line with the 90% of the other users.

maybe some people do commit freakish crimes when they are under the influence of marijuana, but i can promise that the statistics are pointing fingers more towards the use of alcohol and other " FDA approved drugs " as being the higher influence of poor behaviors.

I hope no one in your family ever has a sickness and is convinced to relye on legal addictive narcotics for relief. It is a sad thing to watch happen.
I have experianced it first hand and it is'nt pretty.
i was diagnosed with Sjogrens syndrome , they gave me buckets of opiates and I don't know what all else. I became a useless pathetic legal narcotics addict before long, thankfully my wife saw it happening and got my attention before i became a statistic.
I now use "Medical Marijuana" legally, am no longer addicted to opiate narcotics and have a life again. So please do not group all users in to one group of drug addicts.
Of course there are stoners just like there are drunks who abuse the legality of each.

I run a Hydroponic Store, And I have ppl come in that are very disabled everyday. My mother included, She can not eat or sleep without MMJ. Only reason it is not legalized is the fact Pharmaceutical companys will never let it happen because they will lose billions of dollars. Same ****ing reason there is no "Cure for Cancer". They make millions of dollars off treating it.
