Trail and Rock course

I am thinking of building my own trail and rock course. I have a couple choices for location. I have 15 acres but most is in hay. I have 3 copses of pecan trees and one of them is real nice and I have a 300' X 50' stretch of mixed Oaks, Wild Lemon, Pine, Spruce and Pecan trees that has a 30 foot diameter pond at one end. But my wife and I are fighting over which to use for the RC and which to use for a shade garden.

This is the small pecan grove. The other is still very overgrown. I have ben spending time bush hogging and starting tomorrow, cutting and dragging debris and overgrowth out of this one.

Tools of the day, lol. Had 28 yards of gravel dropped today and 28 more coming tomorrow for the driveway and pad area in front of where the Shop/Garage and Carport is going.

I also have a very nice pond for boats, about 18 acres in water. Belongs to my BIL but is attached to my place.

As soon as the house is done, I will at least have some room to run my SCTs.

Bonehead Dump truck driver got to my place this morning before I did and drove a 14 yard load out into the wet grass beyond the gravel driveway then tried to back up and buried it to the axles. I was stunned that my 78 Massey Ferguson 275 was able to push him with a full load about 20 feet to where he could dump his load (sounds nasty huh?) then tow him about 60 feet to high ground so he could turn around. Left foot deep ruts right where my shop is going.

Lucky for me my BIL has a Front Loader tractor with a box blade and was able to fix the damage.

Does the lake have any fish in there? What kind? I used to be am avid fisherman in AK till I moved to WA four years ago and man I miss it!

I'm a dump truck driver as well and I can guarantee that i didn't do that! Whenever I get to a site and I wasn't given any specific instructions or any areas marked to dump at, I'll make a few phone calls first, if that doesn't work and I'm on schedule and don't have the time to wait for the home owners, I'll dump it where I think is the best place that will be easy enough for the home owners to access it and move it around. So far, haven't had a complaint yet:thumbup:

Very nice...I've always wanted a personal lake in my back yard to fish in. I've fished cats before, but no bass or brim yet..bass are gonna be next year when the summer comes back here in WA.
