Hi guys,

just started to build my TF2. I did not like the position of the Motor, much to high...
So I thought about flipping it down. Vou need to cut one of the posts from the Motorplate and it fits perfekt. The front Axle must have been made for this Mod.
On the picture the chassis is nearly in a drop-setup and there is still a lot of space between Motor and Axle :-)

Now the Chassis is ready to compete I am loving it :-)

I see in the picture you have the suspension at almost full compression and it doesnt hit the motor. But what if you fully lift the drivers front wheel and lower the passenger front. Make sure to check clearances when you articulate the axles.

Maybe its just me but if I was really worried about performance I would remove the heavy ass 2spd.. You could do that and not ruin the look..

Why do you think it ruins the look, the Motor is still a little higher than the trany is, looks like a real Engine from the side. Paint it black and you won't even notice the Mod when the car is assembled.

I just put it together, I won't run the Car in this setup. But what you can see is that there is a lot of space even in the drop setup. The dampers are the limit to the articulation and the suspension in any case.

If you take out the dampers the motor hits the axle the same time the driveshaft hits the trany, its perfekt even with shorter dampers.

The Trany is in the stock position. Yeah the stearing will be a little tricky. I will take 4mm stealtube lets see if a bent one fits or if I need to go under the leafs.
