Traxxas Rock Crawler

Who was trying to pass it off as a crawler?
"1/10 Scale 4WD Extreme Terrain Monster Truck" is what Traxxas is calling it....
I'd probably score one just to bash around with, myself..

Well the title of this thread is " Traxxas Rock Crawler" and it was advertised in a crawler mag.

well, another good thing from this could be the introduction of new super tires! i think if traxxas is smart, they'll offer these unmounted so we can use them on or supers or 14"-ers....

Like the product or not, Traxxas just set the bar high for all the other mfgs...

Which is great for the crawling community!

Thank You Traxxas!!!
I agree with you.... it may help those out that are "on the fence" about whether or not they want to invest in a 100% crawler rig.... If they like crawling, they might invest in a more capable rig. If crawling is not for them, then they have a capable basher......
Maybe a more suitable title for it would have been "cross-over crawler":lol:

any pics of the 1/16 e revo?

ive been wanting to get a basher

Ever heard of ARB, Ected, ElecTrac, Ox ?

I meant for a 1/10 toy truck.
I think it is cool having lockable diff ,IMHO Traxxas makes it sound like its absolutely neccessary for crawling ( Ironically it is , since it's a Revo. ) compared to a regular locker.

I hope that Kyosho is watching this and that it will motivate them to release the Super Rock Force.

Well the title of this thread is " Traxxas Rock Crawler" and it was advertised in a crawler mag.

And who made the title of this thread? Certainly not Traxxas. Yeah, they put it on the back of a crawler magazine, that was probably to deliberately throw us off as Traxxas has become so adept at doing. The only people who ever called this a crawler was the forum communities.

That's still a seperate entity from Traxxas. Yes, we might have been expecting a crawling, even hoping for one-but the truth is nobody from Traxxas ever said it would be a crawler, so we can't get pissed at them.

The Traxxas reps were all calling it a Crawler at Ihobby... I was suprised to hear that it can run on 1 pack without mods. According to the 1 rep I spoke with (and I know Im just fueling a new fire) Traxxas is supposedly working on a REALcomp crawler. No I didnt get the reps name of all the booths at the show the traxxas booth had the worst reps, they didnt want to talk to you if you had serious questions. They were the only people that wanted the "how fast does it go" questions

Now for the funny part... the 1 rep was telling me about how great of a crawler it is etc... and how it can do things other crawlers cant... just until I handed him a business card... he shut up at that point.

I was really waiting on this crawler to be the next best this thing from Traxxas, and this is what they give me?:-(

i see this as a great terrain exploration vehicle perfect for hiking trails here in co, i know there are lots of trails with biug hilling sections and open feilds of fun dirt and some narly hill climbs as well as great techinical rocks. if i put this and a mrc in a back pack i could be gone all day on the hiking paths havin a blast, all id need is a beer hat and an r/c trailer for the two vehicles and parts support
